Qatar Foundation
These recognise innovative projects that address global education challenges and that have demonstrated a transformative impact on communities and societies. Six awards, worth USD 20,000 each, are available.

Spencer Foundation
These support smaller scale or pilot projects that will contribute to the improvement of education, broadly conceived. Grants are worth up to USD 50,000 each.

Channel 7 Children’s Research Foundation
These support research into conditions that may affect the health, education and welfare of children. Grants are worth up to AUD 35,000 over one or two years.

Australia-China Council grants (C2)
Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade

These grants support projects across China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau and Australia that broaden and strengthen Australia-China relations in education, business, culture and arts. Grants are worth between AUD 5,000 and AUD 40,000 each. ***

Council on Australia Latin America Relations grants (C2)
Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade
These provide seed funding for innovative projects that demonstrate the potential for the development of long-term links between individuals and institutions in Australia and their counterparts in Latin America. Grants are worth between AUD 5,000 and AUD 50,000 each per year.

Melbourne Boston Sister Cities Association
These fellowships fund research and projects that expand and enhance Melbourne’s and Boston’s reputations as centres of knowledge excellence. Three fellowships worth up to AUD 10,000 each will be awarded.

Queensland Department of Education and Training
This supports the delivery of high-quality research aligned to the Queensland government’s education and training priorities. Grants are worth up to AUD 100,000 per year for up to two years.

These support small research conferences and focused symposia. Grants are worth up to USD 50,000 each.

Pierce Armstrong Foundation
These enable non-profit organisations to undertake projects that positively impact and enhance the lives of Australians. There is no specific minimum or maximum funding amount, but grants are generally worth up to AUD 20,000.

Lyle Spencer Research Awards (C3)
Spencer Foundation
These support research projects that advance our understanding of educational practice and its improvement. Awards are worth up to USD 1 million.

Australian Literacy Educators’ Association
These support schools and teachers in conducting research focused on literacy development and learning within the school context in collaboration with an academic partner. Grants are worth up to AUD 5,000. Additionally, early bird registration at the national conference of the association will be covered for the grant recipient and their partner.

National Academy of Education/Spencer postdoctoral fellowship programme (C3)
Spencer Foundation
This supports early-career scholars working in critical areas of education research. Up to 30 fellowships, worth USD 70,000 each, are available.
