When: Melbourne Graduate School of Education, University of Melbourne
Where: December 9-12
This is the final call for papers for the 6th World Curriculum Studies Conference organised under the auspices of the International Association for the Advancement of Curriculum Studies (IAACS), and is co-hosted by the Australian Curriculum Studies Association (ACSA) and the Australian Association for Research in Education (AARE).
The conference will include keynote speakers from Singapore, South Africa and Australia, three plenary Featured Panels and a wide range of symposia and papers.
Panel topics include:
- National Curriculum: International Perspectives
- Indigenous and Decolonising Challenges in/to Curriculum Theory
- Teachers’ Work/Lives and Curriculum Making
This may be a good conference for HDR students, with a very accessible registration fee for graduate students ($150). I note there is also a pre-conference workshop designed for graduate students & early-career researchers. This comprises specialized workshops on reviewing and writing for academic journals and work on theorizing in curriculum scholarship.
