Times Higher Education announced their annual global rankings this week. RMIT has moved up 60 places to sit at 391. Four years ago we sat well outside the top 500. We have made significant advances in every global ranking scheme this year. This is a result of a fabulous collective effort across all three Colleges.
The ARC also announced Laureate Fellowships yesterday. Professor Mike Xie, RMIT School of Engineering, was awarded one. The University of Melbourne was awarded one and Monash two with no other Victorian university being successful. Australia-wide only three of the seventeen Laureate Fellowships were awarded outside the Group of Eight. Another great result for RMIT.
