In this workshop Tricia McLaughlin will explore the tender process within RMIT. The requirements and the type of writing that leads to tender success as well as the formal processes of RMIT for tender leads will be explained.
She will also briefly focus upon general grant writing skills that can be applied to most funds.
Participants can be at any stage of their career, although the workshop will presume a basic understanding of the categories of grants and tenders and the client requirements of each.
The workshop will NOT cover ARC, CRC grants or Global Fund grants – which are covered in university-wide workshops.
Participants will work on a live tender document and must be prepared to complete work in the session.
A follow-up workshop on more general grant writing skills will also be held next semester.
