In good news Shane Duggan, the School’s current Vice Chancellor’s Post Doctoral Fellow, has been awarded a prestigious Department of Education and Training Endeavour Research Fellowship for 2018.
The Fellowship, valued at $24,500, supports Early Career Researchers to undertake collaborative research activities for 6 months in another country. Shane will work with Professor Ann Marcus and Associate Professor Gregory Wolniak at New York University Steinhardt, extending his current research on University admissions and recruitment.
I hope Shane’s success might encourage other early career researchers to consider this scheme in the next few years. I’m sure Shane would be happy to lend his support.
