As you know, RMIT remains committed to making progress towards Reconciliation while acknowledging the work that’s still ahead of us.
Jill Weaven, HR Business Partner to DSC, has played a critical role in leading the charge across the University. Working closely with Stacey Campton and Professor Mark McMillan, Jill has developed initiatives to improve the employment, retention and career progression outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees.
It is fitting that Jill, who is a a proud Wiradjuri woman, has been appointed as Senior Manager, Human Resources Indigenous Engagement Strategy. She will be responsible for developing and leading HR’s Indigenous Engagement strategy across RMIT and act as the key advocate within HR for our Aboriginal and Torres Islander employees.
Jill will continue in her role as HR Business Partner to DSC.
