Today, staff from our Diverse Genders, Sexes and Sexualities (DGSS) Working Party, Ally Network and DGSS Staff Network will join other organisations at the State Library to hear the results of the Australian Marriage Law Postal Survey at 10am.
The gathering, organised by the official ‘Yes’ campaign, is a chance for individuals and organisations throughout Melbourne to come together, and interested staff members throughout RMIT are invited to join. If you are interested, the group will be meeting outside the Campus Store (Building 12, Level 4) at 9 am before walking over to the State Library (or feel free to meet there around 9.30 am – just look for the RMIT table).
Safe Space for Staff: Wednesday 15 to Friday 17 November
The postal survey campaign has been a challenging and stressful time for some members of our community. The announcement of the results may further impact staff and students, regardless of what those results may be.
The RMIT Ally Network has booked a room for the days following the results announcement where staff and students can go for from some quiet time and space. I invite you to be mindful of the needs of our colleagues at this time.
Room location: Building 8, Level 4, Room 30
Booking times: 10 am to 4 pm, Wednesday 15 November to Friday 17 November
