Pedagogy in the Pub – feminist style
Last night’s Pedagogy was a terrific interactive performance by #FEAS – Feminist Educators Against Sexism. In a great example of creative dissemination that defied ERA constraints, Emily Grey, Linda Knight and Mindy Blaise shared quotes from women’s experiences in Higher Education. I think the room (or was it just me?) cycled through all five stages of the grief process with a few more thrown in, with denial, anger, depression, humour and optimism all on show. Some great discussion about the gendered-nature of our work and its impact on aspects from pay to the CES. If you were not there it’s worth asking others about the “+one” conversation.
