The accreditation journey has continued into 2019 for four of our ITE programs. In good news, both the MTP (Secondary Ed) and MTP (Primary Ed) programs have been approved by the review panels for the first stage accreditation process. We are still awaiting to hear the outcome from the panels for the B.Ed and the B.Health, PE & Sport. We are hoping to have a response close to Easter.
Stage two accreditation is the next stage where we must demonstrate that our program design is rigorous through providing evidence of meeting program outcomes, the impact of our program on student learning from the preceding accreditation period and how we will continue to improve the program. The figure below from the AITSL guide (p. 4) illustrates the components required in Stage 2 reporting.
The data we collect will inform our future practice and program design. The GTPA, mentor reports, Edufolio evidence of meeting standards, and critical tasks provide examples of data required for this reporting. Stay tuned for further updates.
