The Grad Dip in Education (Early Childhood) was selected this year for inclusion in the Every Graduate Ready University Focus Area and as a result received funding to support a review. The team used this funding to retreat (or perhaps more accurately “advance”) in the beautiful environs of Olinda.

Over two days in late October the group talked, thought, meditated, created, sang and ate together. I had the pleasure of joining the group on Monday afternoon just in time for a mindfulness practice outdoors led by Al. Al used his nephew’s possum skin cloak as an inspiration to think about the team’s narratives.

The group worked with Dan Sleeman from RMIT Activator (below) to develop a compelling and distinctive vision.
