Reinhild Pieper is a visiting HDR student from Berlin, currently completing her Masters thesis in the field of Educational Psychology in partnership with RMIT, under my supervision. Her research will be completed at the end of January 2019 and she is looking for further research or employment opportunities. To be honest I think she wants to stay just to keep singing with the Pixels!
Below are some details from Reinhild.
I am very passionate about gaining work experience within the field of Psychology and Education in cooperation with RMIT. My primary research interests are:
- Sense of belonging in University students
- Academic self-concept
- Attribution beliefs among students
- Anxiety disorders
- Student well-being
While these are my specific research interests I would also be very interested in applying my existing academic skill set more broadly to other research projects in the field of Social Sciences and Education. I have a strong educational background in Sociology and Psychology, thorough knowledge of research designs and statistical analysis methods and excellent written language skills. I am a highly organised and motivated person who is able to work both independently and as part of a team, and I believe my skills would be of great value to anyone requiring a research assistant.
I am also available to work as a tutor, having previously worked in this capacity at the Technical University of Berlin. I have extensive work experience in office administration and would be available for any work of this nature as well. Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you require further information or if you would like to discuss research or employment possibilities.
