This week is National Reconciliation Week. The dates of National Reconciliation Week (May 27 – June 3) commemorate two significant reconciliation milestones – the successful 1967 referendum and the High Court Mabo decision. For non-indigenous Australians the week brings an opportunity to reflect on our National, institutional and personal commitments to reconciliation.
This week RMIT launches our new Reconciliation Plan, Dhumbah Goorowa (Commitment to Share), on Wednesday, 10-11:30 am. Please do take time out to attend this important event. If you’re teaching, bring your students! Launches are running simultaneously on all three campuses.
