Our websites have been updated to reflect the latest advice from the Australian Government, as of 2 February 2020, which is as follows:
- If you have been in mainland China on or after 1 February 2020 (not including Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan), please do not attend campus for 14 days after you were last in mainland China. This recommendation does not apply retrospectively. It applies only to those who were in mainland China on or after 1 February 2020.
- If you have recently travelled through Hubei Province (which includes Wuhan City), please do not attend campus for 14 days from your date of arrival back into Australia.
- If you have been in close contact with a person who has a confirmed case of coronavirus, please do not attend campus for 14 days from your last contact with them.
Classes will continue as planned. Our call centres are briefed and FAQs are being updated regularly, especially related to student enrolment queries, wellbeing concerns and travel advice. Travel restrictions are in place to high risk locations and we encourage all RMIT to reconsider any non-essential travel at this time.
