In an effort to provide more inclusive global experience opportunities for all students, RMIT has developed a range of Melbourne programs that students can take part in.

Coming up in June is the City Challenge program. This is a 2 day event where students will work on solving a real problem facing the City of Melbourne, put to them by the Mayor of Melbourne.

This year the problem students will be working on collaboratively is improving the lives of Melbourne’s homeless.

The City Challenge Melbourne is a new type of learning experience. The organisation Common Purpose has crafted a two-day program that creates an environment that teaches crucial skills such as teamwork, cultural intelligence, and leadership – all useful skills for SoE graduates.

The City Challenge Melbourne is exclusive to RMIT students, from all levels of education (Cert IV and above) and disciplines.
