Authentic Assessment Matters
Professor Kevin Ashford-Rowe, Director Learning and Teaching at ACU, is visiting Melbourne next Tuesday 15 May.
Professor Ashford-Rowe conducts research and has published in the field of authentic assessment. Most recently he has created a tool for self analysis of authentic assessment. The tool can be found at www.authenticassessmentmatters.com
I realise that is very short notice but it is an opportunity. Kevin has offered to run a session with staff to discuss how to use the tool, answer questions, etc., in an informal seminar. I’ve not had a chance yet to review the tool’s applicability across our breadth of programs, but wanted to pass this on as the session is scheduled for next week.
When: Tuesday 15 May 2018, 11 am – 12 noon
Where: Interactive Tutorial Space Building 80 Level 4 Room 18
An appointment with details will be circulated shortly, but hold the space if you are interested.
