The Vice-Chancellor yesterday launched the five Areas of Focus for RMTI in 2019. These priorities will be important for all our work in the coming year. The information below comes from the website.
The plan embodies our shared priorities for RMIT and clearly outlines the way our collective effort will deliver on our Ready for Life and Work strategy by 2020.
In this short video, Martin talks about the importance of embracing contemporary ways of working and how we’ve created a red thread that links our strategy, our 2019 Annual Operating Plan and our people.
No silos, working as one university, with a common set of values and five clear Areas of Focus:
- Student: Remarkable learning experiences.
- Global: Accelerating our ambition in Asia.
- Industry: Realising our competitive advantage.
- People: Future ready and values-led.
- Service Culture: Enabling an exceptional service experience.
“By creating a clear connection between our Areas of Focus and our Portfolio Plans, everyone will know how they contribute through the work they do,” Martin said.
“By breaking down the silos and working as one RMIT, our people are going to feel part of a culture that will be second to none.”
Register for a roadshow in February to hear from senior leaders – we want everyone to understand the Areas of Focus and the role we all play in delivering them.
